i was just contacted by the same magazine who wanted the cocktail lounge photo shoot about doing a piece on glassware and if/how it affects the taste of the beverage. here’s the problem. the magazine is still new and i don’t know how much funding they have.. aka: i want to get bills. i’d really like to be a part of the team, but i’d like to be a paid member of the team, if you catch my drift.
on another note, i was contacted by an organic dairy farm in new york about photographing their product. how did they find me when i’m located in chicago? google “food photographer & ithaca, ny” BAM. now, if only i could get that kind of response here in chicago. i’m super excited for the shoot because i’ll be doing a bit of design work as well, my only snag is finding a location. i’m in the heart land of america and having trouble locking down a farm for a photo shoot.. also, i have little time and its weather dependent. sigh…
